The Author

Stuart Dee is a seasoned Enterprise Architect and technology strategist with over two decades of experience as an architect leading digital transformation initiatives across global organisations. A recognised thought leader in the field, he is a regular contributor to Architecture & Governance Magazine and QCguy, where he writes on the intersection of agile delivery, IT governance, strategic technology execution and Quantum computing.

Stuart’s philosophy is simple: the best architecture is the one that actually gets built. He champions a pragmatic, risk-based approach that prioritises "just-in-time" decision-making over heavy-handed documentation. His work bridges the gap between the engine room of software development and the boardroom of corporate strategy, helping organisations navigate the complexities of modern IT without losing their agility.

When he is not dismantling "ivory tower" thinking or negotiating consequential decisions, Stuart lives in the UK with his wife, who constantly reminds him that knowledge has no bounds and their cat who serves as the household’s Chief Interruption Officer.
